In Acts 20:35, we are instructed, “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
This isn’t the only place in the Bible where God asks us to give. In Malachi 3:10, God told his people “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in My Temple. If you do, I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in!”
