Journey is a “Word and Spirit” Baptist church whose aim is to help every person take their next steps of faith. We believe in the Word of God, the Bible, and we have a strong preaching and teaching ministry that is generally expository in nature (meaning we learn chapter by chapter and verse by verse). We also believe that the Spirit of God desires to meet with us at every turn, and so our services are steeped in prayer, worship, and responding to the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
Our Pastor and ministry team lead services each weekend in a sweet environment that is meant to provide a welcoming, meaningful experience where you can worship alongside others. Since our beginnings in 2003, we have strived to be a church where those who are near God can get closer to Him, and those who are exploring faith are encouraged and challenged to learn more about God.
When you come to Journey, what we hope that you take away from your Sunday experience is a sense of God’s presence and movement; an opportunity to grow in the faith through the Bible; and a chance to exercise your faith by loving others and operating in your spiritual gifts. We want to help every person grow their faith, experience hope, and increase in their love toward God.
