Every weekend, many 1st time guests walk through the doors of our church. If you are considering visiting Journey Church for the first time, then you need to know that we have planned everything with you - our Guest - in mind! The following questions and answers should help make your 1st time visit a truly amazing experience!
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Journey Church is located at 8 Eastern Avenue in Barrington, NH (adjacent to Federal Savings Bank), so plan your commute accordingly. Most people arrive 15 minutes early to check in their children, catch up with new friends, grab a cup of coffee in the cafe, and find a good seat.
*Tip: Pull through bank parking lot to enter Journey's lot.
Please take note of our experience times (with some exciting changes taking place!):
- Saturday Evening Experience - 6:00 PM
- Sunday Morning Experiences - 10:00 AM
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR MY CHILDREN?
The Kidz Journey Ministry has safe & secure environments for the youngest children through elementary school. These ministries engage children in the message of faith, hope, and love through age-appropriate teaching, interactive bible stories, praise music, crafts, games, and of course the greatest Kidz team volunteers on the planet! HOW LONG DOES AN EXPERIENCE LAST?
A typical Weekend Experience lasts for about 70 minutes (which includes a live band, inspirational videos, an offering time, and a hope-filled message from the Pastor that relates to your everyday life). Our mission on the weekend is to allow every attender to grow in faith, hope, and love and to point people to the Hope of the world, Jesus Christ!
WILL I FEEL COMFORTABLE?
If you are a 1st time guest, we will in no way single you out or embarrass you. As a guest, you have every right to remain anonymous. We will encourage everyone to fill out a "Connection Card" that lets us know about their visit, but it is not mandatory.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
The attire is typically casual, and many of our attenders wear what they're comfortable in - jeans or slacks and a casual shirt. Please wear whatever you prefer. We want you to feel comfortable and free to connect with God.
IS THE FACILITY WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, and we will do whatever it takes to serve you and your family! If you have any special requests or concerns click here to contact Journey's office.
