SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16,2007 - "THE 'S' WORD" |
What a day we had! Week 3 of Authority Issues was an incredible week, especially as we focused on the job descriptions of husbands (sacrifice) and wives (submission) according to the Bible.
It is amazing to see how beautiful the picture of marriage is in the
Bible, as we see both men and women filling their God-ordained
roles...It was definitely a tougher message on husbands than wives
though - "Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church" - HUGE
and HARD-HITTING words. I pray that God continues to reveal to us men
how we can be like Christ in our marriages.
Today's service was good - the worship was good also. The attendance
was a little low (134), and if you missed it, you should get a copy of
the message.
