Strong relationships with other believers are essential to our journey, both in large and small settings. Connect to a small group; connect on Sundays; or get connected in a ministry. Also connect with special Journey events.

Children's Ministry

The children's ministry goal is to lay a foundation of God's love that will be strong as our children grow. We have two age group divisions in our children's ministry at this time. We have preschool and elementary classes.

Pre-School

The Teaching in the preschool is designed for children ages 3-5 yr olds. It is presented in a child friendly way that encourages these children to grow in the love of Jesus and to learn about the love he has for them. Each week they have a lesson and craft time. When your child leaves their class they will have a sheet of paper and possibly there craft. The sheet is to help you connect with your child and discuss with them what they have learned and help them with the verse of the week.

Elementary

The goal of the children's ministry is to reach children for Jesus in a positive way. Statistics say that if you don't reach them by the age of 13, chances are they won't be reached. Elementary school through fifth children are encouraged to attend the children's department where they will have a lesson geared toward there age group. As with the preschool there will be a hands on activity accompanying the lesson and a review sheet for you and your child to use at home to further their growth in the lesson each Sunday.

KBC on Wednesday @ 6:30

Kid's Bible Club meets Wednesday night at 6:30 at The Journey.  This is a dedicated time of Bible learning and activities designed to help our children grow deeper in the Lord and know His will for their life.
