(smile) I wish we could slow down alittle there are so many great things that can be discussed in each of these Parables.
The stark reality of the bridesmaids, will we be ready and waiting with anticipation or we put off the preperation and not have our oil. Both in the since that Someday Christ will ultimatly return, and there will be a time when its too late to Go. Like he door shut when noah and his family got on the arc. So will the Gates of Heaven. And you can't get in on borrowed oil. YOu can't rely on your Pastor or you Parents or you Chruch or you Family its our own responsibilty to be prepared for his Coming. on another not its our responsibilty to be prepared for the things he has for us in this life we can miss the boat on blessings because we weren't or aren't ready to serve him now. We alwasy have a chance until the time comes once it comes its gone. I can think of several times when friends of mine wanted to take a trip or go do something, but I wasn't sure if I was willing to spend the money or make the sacrifice of spending the money and then felt the disapointment of knowing I was missng out. (Following Christ is a sacrifice, but not following christ is missing out out the best there iis)

In keeping the rest of this short. I just find it intresting that Jesus parables toward the end of his ministry were commonly about the master leaving and giving tasks for us. to Accomplish... God thought what are we going to do with our Talens.
