This is from Katy Anderson: Journey, Well Thursday was a powerful and emotional day for all of us, I know it really was for me. Kay, Tim and myself all had the opportunity to go to Central Park and pass out 1000 bottles of water for a community outreach project. It really hurt my heart on what I saw. People thought we were kidding when we were giving out free water. What really hurt was seeing ALL the homeless people there. One guy was sleeping and I just left a water next to him. The evening service was absolutely wonderful when Amy, Kay, Tim and myself went outside to pray. I felt like I got a closer connection to them. The worship...just indescribable...I loved it so much! That night I decided to recommit my life to Jesus. About 85 people committed to going to Bible college for either 1 or 4 years...and I was one of them . I decided I want to be a youth pastor. After the service the youth group had our "God and I" time, and I have never felt closer to this youth group before, and I realize that just because it was this way at camp doesn't mean we can't still be this close when we get back home. If anything, I desire to get closer! Thursday night in my dorm room Amy, Kay, Krista and I had a little "pow-wow" going on and things like that I never want to forget. Thanks for praying for each of us! We most definitely look forward to seeing you all on Sunday and sharing our stories! Katy Anderson
