The weekend after Thanksgiving is always an interesting one, as many people are returning home from the holidays. This made for some absentees, but we had a good crowd today of 154 in both services, and it was a good day!

I feel something's happening at The Journey - not just when we meet together, but in the church as a body. I feel there are some good things happening, but I also know right now that the church is under attack in many areas.

Comfort is a great word when it comes to hotels and bedrooms and pillows and cars, but it is not a good word when it comes to churches. Churches that are worried about comfort are seldom worried about anything or anyone else, and it is the death-knell of a church.
